Then, of course, there is the shrinking local hobby shop issue, where there are fewer and fewer local hobby shops on the ground. Once upon a time, one could purchase things from a knowledgeable individual with confidence. The aforementioned trend with hobby shops has curtailed that. Plus, there aren’t that many hobby shops left staffed with people who know what it is you are asking for!
